Fictional example
How a circle comes together
- You want Ben’s Fox Courier. You have a Field Cap to trade.
- Ben doesn’t want your cap. Ben wants a Lantern Card.
- Good news: Cora has a Lantern Card, and wants your Field Cap.
- So it comes around: your cap goes to Cora, Cora’s card goes to Ben, and Ben’s fox comes to you.

You give
Field Cap
to Cora

Cora gives
Lantern Card
to Ben

You receive
Fox Courier
from Ben
SwapGraph looks for trades like this one: a direct swap when two people want each other’s items, or a circle of up to five people when they don’t.
After you join
Individual items from Team Fortress 2, Dota 2, Steam Community and Counter-Strike 2. Each Steam offer containing CS2 contains only CS2 items. A mixed SwapGraph plan uses separate offers. Wishes and matches are free.
More details
- Approving sends nothing. If the items or terms change, everyone approves again.
- Transfers are separate, so you may send your item before you receive one. Progress updates are each person's own report.
- Received CS2 items stay protected for seven days and their trades can be reversed. Later checks remain participant reports; SwapGraph does not verify final settlement. A CS2 reversal does not undo unprotected transfers in a mixed plan.
- SwapGraph reads a shared inventory only when you or your community coordinator ask. You can stop sharing any game at any time. Stacked items can't be offered.
- Optional Scout searches use a fixed allowance included with your account.
- No invitation yet? Ask someone you trade with to invite you.
